| Brentwood Bay Sewer System | Start date: March 2024 The Brentwood Bay sewer system has reached the end of its lifecycle; it handles approximately half of the municipality’s wastewater, including flows from the W̱JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip) First Nation. | Saanich Cross Road Sidewalk | Start date: December 2023 Installation of a sidewalk along Saanich Cross Road from East Saanich to Central Saanich Road takes place early 2024. Crews will be on-site between roughly 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., and alternating single-lane traffic will be in effect. Please drive slowly in the area as workers begin the project. |
| Mt Newton Pathway | Phase 1: A multi-use path between Lochside Trail at Mt Newton Cross Road and Lochside Drive has been designed and is funded by the BC Active Transportation Infrastructure Grant program. Construction for the project will take place in 2024. Phase 2: A multi-use path on Mt Newton Cross Road from East Saanich Road to the Pat Bay Highway is in development with project partners. Design will be completed in 2024 with construction in 2025. |
| Central Saanich Pathway | Central Saanich Pathway is in development with project partners. Design will be completed in 2024 with construction aligned with the replacement of a Regional water system on Central Saanich Road in 2025-26. |
